Give photos on your slides a 5-degree rotation

When everything is proper and orderly, it can turn out to be uninteresting... boring... dull... uneventful... dry... clichéd! This is how I sometimes felt when working with photos on my presentation slides. It is easy to just drop a photo in the placeholder of the slide template. But we can go a step further to make the overall slide looks a little bit more interesting.

Select one or two of those photos and give it a slight 5-degree rotation, either clockwise or anti-clockwise. At the same time, assign a simple photo frame to your photos. An alternative to assigning a frame, adding borders and shadows to the photos will also do the trick.

The examples below will give you an idea of how the before and after will look like.

Fig 1: Normal. Overall slide looks quite plain and uninteresting.

Fig 2: With 5-degree rotation. Overall slide looks more exciting and dynamic.

Photos with 5-degree rotation

Be cautious not to rotate too much. A slight four to a 5-degree rotation is all that is needed.
