Sticky Presentations bite size article: Pie as you like

Pie as you like

Jul 15, 2015

How can you move away from the boring pie chart for your presentation slides? If we use the charting feature of the presentation software, we will have limited control over how the chart appears on the slide. To gain full control, we manually create the pie chart the way we like it. Different treatments for individual pie segments—size, colours, text styles, text size, etc.

Try this challenge using PowerPoint, Keynote, or your favorite presentation software. All efforts do not require external software or imported images.

Challenge tips
There are 2 activities in this challenge.

  1. Look for a shape from the shape tools that will allow you to create individual segments of the pie.
  2. Align all segments together and set the required attributes for each segment.

This challenge is easier on PowerPoint compared to Keynote. If you have difficulty solving this challenge, drop me an email and I will give you instructions on how this is done. Remember to indicated to me which software you are using so that I can send you the correct instructions.

Good luck and have fun!
