Saving a low resolution image
Have you ever had an image that you like but the resolution is so low that it's almost impossible to use it in your presentation slide? Not to worry. There is still hope. We can alter (or enhance) the image into a slightly different style thus hiding the flaws of the low-resolution effects.
This method of enhancement is best done on Photoshop. So, yes! You will need to have access to Photoshop for this to work. Here is how you can do it.
Open the image in Photoshop. Enlarge it to the size that you want for your presentation. Look for Filter Gallery under the Filter menu then select Diffuse Glow. You can experiment with other filters but I find the Diffuse Glow works best for me in image below.
Different versions of Photoshop might have the filters located differently. Look around in the version that you have.
There are other filters in Photoshop that you might want to try out. Different images might require a different filter. Select one that will make your image looks best. It's time to scan through your presentation slides to see if there are low-resolution images that you can salvage and begin making a difference in your presentation design.
