Shapes to Objects
Do you know that you can combine shapes in PowerPoint (or Keynote) to build interesting objects to enhance your presentation visuals? Don't under estimate the usefulness of these shapes. Circles, rectangles, lines, and other shapes in your presentation software have the ability to do wonders.
Just a simple effort of combining a circle and couple of rectangles can build you an object of a person. Once you have the object created, you can easily change the colour or duplicate it to get more of the same object.
Try it with your favourite presentation software.
- Create three shapes. A circle and 2 rounded rectangles. Use edit points to edit one of the rectangles so that it looks tapered on one end.
- Drag the two rectangles so that they overlap and aligned as show in the diagram below.
- Fill all shapes with a colour.
- Remove lines from all shapes and group the three shapes into an object.
There are many more ways that we can use objects to make our presentation visuals exciting. Explore them at your own time. You'll be amazed how exciting your next presentation can be.
